Project Info
This 1940s house has wonderful character nestled under a giant live oak tree. The house, like many in the Avondale neighborhood, was small with only two bedrooms and one bath. A rear addition was constructed to add a master suite and screen porch. The existing interior was reconfigured slightly to create a laundry and mudroom, a full bath, a powder room, and more storage. The end result increases the square footage by 50% while maintaining the character of the house and neighborhood.
